Hello, spring

In the past week, our little garden patch exploded with bok choy and their pretty yellow flowers emerged. I never knew bok choy had flowers…

The kangaroo requested that I eat up the bok choy in the two weeks he is gone so he can plant new seedlings in its place. I’ve been trying very hard to incorporate bok choy in my smoothies and salads, but I only seem to have made a small dent in this batch.

Although it looks like spring, it’s still pretty damn chilly outdoors, especially at night when the wind chill factor hovers around 0 to 2 degrees Celcius.
